The second section includes our ride through the Great Smokey Mountains National Park and the Tail of the Dragon. The Tail of the Dragon is an 11 mile section of US 129 in Tennessee on the southern border of the Great Smokey Mountains National Park. Paul headed back to Maine after we rode the Dragon, then I rode the Snake and some amazingly beautiful, twisty roads in Tennessee, North Carolina, Virginia and West Virginia on my way home. |
