We are blessed with two sons and their partners, and 4 grandchildren - they are the best
thing that has ever happened to me! I don't think you can understand fully the
impact grandchildren have on your sense of who you are, your place in life, and
the meaning of life, until you experience it. Our little twin grandsons Angus
and Duncan were born just several months before my mother passed away, and in
some mysterious way placed my mother's passing in a
whole new perspective, having to do with the cycle of life. These experiences
have also helped me put my own life in perspective, too.
The first grouping of photos is of Emmet, our first
grandchild, born to our son Chris and
his wife Maria in January 2003. Then in July 2006
Claire Elizabeth joined the family.
Our son Geoff and his partner Tom were blessed with twin boys, Angus and
Duncan, born on Thanksgiving Eve, 2005. It was a memorable Thanksgiving!
